Moseley Chamber Singers

is a small ensemble, particularly interesting for singers who enjoy performing in a group in which they have a bit more personal responsibility.
Under the auspices of our conductor, Jeanne Conard Jones, we sing a repertoire of sacred and secular music of all eras, mostly unaccompanied, and mostly in English. We also sing in a number of foreign languages. We take time to talk about the meaning of the texts.
There is an emphasis on developing good vocal technique, a beautiful sound and expressiveness. Every voice is important to the group.

The rehearsals, which take place in Moseley on Thursdays from 6:00 until 8:00 are interesting, sometimes fun, and very productive. It is a friendly group and most of our singers are also in other choirs.
Our next concert is 8th December 2018 at Cambridge Road Methodist Church and will present Christmas music from many countries.
At present we have two openings each in the soprano, tenor and bass, and one opening for an alto. If you would like to inquire about the Moseley Chamber Singers, please contact Jeanne or Gill Holmes, 0121 441 4215;, or Hilary Bloxom,
